Editorial Policy

This page explains how every piece on 10 Minutes MBA is researched, written, and corrected — so you can judge how much to trust it.

How we research

Every case study starts from primary and well-regarded secondary sources: company shareholder letters and annual reports, founder interviews and memoirs, court and regulatory filings, and established business history books. Where a case study draws on a specific book, that book is listed in the "Sources & further reading" section at the bottom of the piece. We do not publish rumours, unattributed claims, or numbers we cannot trace back to a source.

How we write

Every article is written and edited by a named human author — you'll find the byline on each piece. We use plain English on purpose: if a strategy concept can't be explained without jargon, we explain the jargon first (that's what our glossary is for). Compression is our editorial choice, not a shortcut — a 10-minute read should still contain the full lesson.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. Factual corrections are made directly in the article; substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the piece. To report an error, email us via the contact page with the article URL and the claim you believe is wrong.

Advertising & affiliate links

This site is funded by display advertising (Google AdSense) and by affiliate links to books we genuinely recommend — if you buy through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over what we write or our conclusions. Full details are on our disclosure page.
